I have an HP Officejet Pro 8500. It is not wioreless. Love the printer but have a couple questions. First, I have it set up on a network connected to a Comcast Gateway modem/router. I work off an HP laptop wirelessly. If I scan on the feeder, I usually have the scan saved to a flash drive attached to the USB port. I can locate the scans there. However, when I scan utilizing the flatbed, the scanner scans, but when it compledtes the scan and asks me to finish it, it savess it somewhere but I can never locate where the scan went. If it is actually sending it somewhere, there are probably 100 scans waiting. When it tells me during the finishing of the scan where it is going to, it is topo fat for me to see it. I have checked every file, "My Scans" etc and cannt locate it. Is there a problem with trying to scan on the printer that is connected by ethernet to the Gateway and the ability of the printer to actually scan to a wireless connected notebook? Or, maybe am I set up incorrect? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.....
