The light is on
I either don't know how to connect to a network or it is not able to connect. I seem to remember that at one point, I was able to connect wirelessly, but I think the driver software (via Apple-HP) was changed and now nothing seems to work. Seems like everything would be do-able if the HP Wireless Connect software could "see" the printer, but it apparently can't.
