After using the hp j4680 printer for two years in the wireless hookup, the scanner stopped working -wireless- but the printer continued to work.
After a lot of fooling around I deleted the original driver program for the printer and tried to download the latest driver program. I downloaded what i thought was the latest driver program (282 Mb) but nothing worked.
I then hooked up the printer to my laptop using the USB cable and both printer and scanner work.
The printer is hooked up to my personal wireless network as usual, but I do not have any wireless connection now, not for the printer and not for the scanner.
Any ideas??
